Lucky to have her.

I was in the room the day each of my children arrived (I am told I was also in the room when they were conceived, but this is not that kind of blog) and there is no doubt that my wife is uh-may-zing. In those first moments, when I was just trying to figure out which end of the child to put the diaper on, she already knew each of them in a deeper way; how they needed to be loved and how they needed to be cared for.

My kids are so lucky to have her. When they look back on their childhoods they will recognize the sacrifices she makes for us. They will be inspired by her hard work toward a goal. They will remember her as a comforter. They will tell stories about how she taught them important life lessons.
The truth is, I am lucky to have her too. My greatest moments and best memories are the ones where she is by my side. She gets the assist for every accomplishment. She also holds back the "See, I told you so" for every failure.
I am proud of her.
I am grateful for her.
I love raising these crazy kids with her.
Happy Mother's Day!
